I've been wanting to try my hand at making moulds, especially pieces for my underground HQ and now for my Ork City. However the issue was I never liked the material readily available, the different green stuff and also air drying clay. The dried texture of these two are never smooth when trying to make moulds for metal walls and features. I finally decided to search for liquid plastic and found this, Mouldcraft SG 2000, a two part liquid that mix and dries within an hour into paintable plastic. However what I didn't know was that once opened, should be used within six months. It's unlikely I will use this any time soon, as most likely I will do a test piece and probably several years later that I'll try again. Almost like the bottle of Water Effect that I had for couple of years before I made my waterfall. With this small purchase, hopefully I'll be closer in trying. |
