This circle cutter is more suited for paper or thin pieces of plastic. Once the plastic gets thicker, it becomes more difficult as it has a tendency to shift and make different cuts in the original circle. I ended up finishing it off with the scalpel. Luckily I didn't use too much glue as I dismantled my Eldar warp gate so I can remount it on a new base where I'm planning to position my Council around.

Unfortunately work has been extremely hectic, busy and annoying. So I've been slumped on the couch more often than I would like. I finally decided to try and use the cheap magnetic tape I bought from the pound shop. After sanding down one of my models with a rough piece of sandpaper, I realised I should have done this first with the other models. I almost sanded away the base from one side, luckily it wasn't too thin, but trying to sand evenly was not easy. I forgot to clean up the base before attempting to stick the tape to the bottom so first piece wasted already. It's not a strong magnetic tape, one shake and it'll come off, but if turned upside down, it will stay. Not impressed, but for the price, I can do a lot without worrying about wasting any.
Normally I don't do cloaks as its difficult to get the sharp corners, but also getting it thin enough to look like a cloak. However I wanted my grand Seer to stand out a bit more so I tried. It was a lot of nipping it thin with a tweezer and then cutting the edges with a pair of scissors. I definitely need to invest in a smaller and better pair though. It hasn't turned out too bad and as I had plenty of green stuff left at the end, I used my new Roll Maker on the remaining stuff. Just need to decorate the head a bit more and I'm finished.
It took me a lot of hassle to acquire this from the Spanish company. Three failed attempts via ebay as they cancelled the order, from mine and my sister's account to my address in UK and the third from my other sister's ebay account to her address. One failed attempt to purchase direct from their website, took payment and then cancelled for no reason. No response from the company either. I asked on the forum and found a UK buyer who had successfully purchased from them and they got one on my behalf, but I had to pay the additional postage to get it to me. However it does perfectly what it's designed to do and in a simple way even without any instructions. The photo of my first attempt doesn't show the detail, but it's as per the printout on the packaging. There is two side panels to hold the bottom plate so you can run the top plate along the top. Three pair of plates for three different size and depending on combination and orientation of top and bottom panels, you can make different effects. I even used one of the plates to print onto a flat piece of green stuff to make vertical lines and grid patterns. Overall worth the extra cost and hassle to get it.
