So I've been a bit lazy of the recent weekends. Too many events in these games I play and not been able to take a break. So I'm cheating yet again as it seems I had these three pages updated last year, but not published. I just had to tidy up the Tau page a little and all done. The Chaos now contains the latest terminator characters, the Orks have the full Krew and the Tau Riptides have been added.

the final result regardless how much time I spent. The old pieces had red gems while I opted for an electric blue on the new pieces. Luckily it was five of each, hence I decided not to change the old ones other than a bit of touch up. This main eleventh piece had blue gems on the staff and body, but also red gems on the head piece. Painting the rune on the rear cloak was a nightmare as the surface was all bumpy. It's probably time to buy and try some liquid green stuff. But most likely by the time I use it, it'll have all dried up. That also reminds me I still got my liquid plastic resin I've never tried yet.
due to the lack of natural light. I decided to give this Warlock a black helm with red eyes and a bit of bone deco above one eye. Unfortunately the black wash dim'd the eyes so they are barely visible. I didn't want a large glyph on the rear of the cloak and went with some small ones on the edges. Only one left to paint.
I took two days off just to begin the countdown. Two more days and I'm back in the office full time. That leaves me one more day to paint the last two Eldar Warlocks/Farseers. Although there is the five old ones that look a little out of place in comparison to the others and wondering if I want to re-do them from scratch or try and touch them up to the same standards and... redness as some of them look a bit faded.
Painting is not as easy as creating new stuff. It takes a lot more effort and you can't just sit down and dabble. You can't just cut a few pieces of plastic or glue a few parts together and then walk away. It takes a lot more effort to pick up a paint brush and paint. Worse is trying to continue after a bit of mistake or unsure how to paint it. I think that is why I enjoyed making Ork pieces so much, its just bashing things together. I just need to persist with the remaining ones.
