So finally finished the Ork Goffs and luckily the "Hemp Rope" paint turned out not too different to what I hoped, although not as yellow as some of my previous bases. So I got around to taking some photos during the day (usually done at night) and the photos turned out brighter than what I'm used to. As it's unlikely I'll try and take the lot again, I've tweaked the brightness and saturation. So hopefully in the next few days I'll get some more site updates. A bit of a taster, there is the Goffs in Da Old Gitz page and a new image at the bottom of the Dread Mob.

With the Ork buildings back on the shelf, I can concentrate on a final push to get the last stands painted.. Unfortunately the dark blue plastic requires a second coat of paint making the task longer than really required. I'm also touching up the shoes and hopefully once all of the base done, I may be even trying to improve the ork flesh and finishing off with a black wash. There's still two other Ork clans to scrap and re-base, but considering how long this take, it'll be a while before I attempt those.
Hopefully when I get around to painting this, it'll look more Orkish with some glyphs and skulls painted everywhere. At the moment it seems difficult trying to add stuff to make it more destroyed and bodged the way Orks does it. This is only the ground floor too. Still got two more and then I plan to make some more buildings.
In between scrapping the Ork stands, I'v been continuing with my box buildings. However in this case I'm not planning on a slot tray as the building is a L shaped. I'll be using this building to place my speed freaks hence I wanted to make a working garage door for them to speed out of. The roof will be removable as I'm planning to add additional details inside. Although a break from the scraping, cutting slot windows out of these walls also prove tiring on the fingers.
