Although against my "trying to save space" motto with scenary pieces, I decided to try this concept. Hence the attempt to re-use the circular scraps. My first mistake was trying to use the larger circle for the steps rather than the cut-out smaller circle as the basis. After that light bulb moment, the stairs came together nicely. Hopefully I'll have continual success with the rest of this shrine.

It doesn't help the lack of inspiration to start something when I'm too busy playing SimCity Buildit on multiple tablets :( With the recent updates to the Eldar, I thought it'd be nice to create a shrine for my Striking Scorpions that I've had painted, but never taken photos of. Unfortunately I thought I'd try and use these left overs, 25 mm circles I had my sisters cut out for me many years ago (cheap labour) that I then never used as I needed more 15mm instead. This made it more difficult too.
I had a few photos of the Eldar Wrathgate and Fire Dragon Shrine and decided to add this into a new page in the Terrain section (although not many photos). As per the theme, I thought I take more photos for the Waterfall, only to find after the passage of time, the top river section's bubbled up. Much to my annoyance, the photo taken above on my Samsung A40 looks great when I only need focus in the centre of the picture.
Although a mixture of some new and mainly old models, my Eldar under the Armies section is finally updated. There is only two pages of photos considering I had taken in total of 227 pictures. A few taken from the Cannon IXUS 7.5, majority from my Samsung A40 that not got used and the remainder on my wife's Samsung A4. Unfortunately I have very little photography and editing skills to keep the photos consistant, especially in comparison with some of the other armies.
The magnetic strip base has now been painted green as I need it to take photos for my Eldar Seer Council. While hunting for the old crystal scenary I used in my previous Eldar photos, I've come across several boxes of scenary pieces back when I was younger. These were before I discovered plastic card and all of these are on mounting card and sprisingly havent warped. Amongst them is a Cathedral and a wide building front. None of these were ever finished and I may get around to taking more photos... or even finishing them off!
was the Wave Serpent in opposite angles (top left and bottom right was out of focus, while the camera photos was always towards the edges.
The Eldar Fire Dragons in the Eldar Army section were taken ~2005. I had also made the shrine for it too using Dragon statues from a Warhammer army box set game (can't remember what it was called). I was tempted to replicate something similiar for my Striking Scorpions, however got stuck on inspiration. Also I didn't have any scoprion figures, hence would need to make something from scratch. Instead I decided to re-work this scenary a bit including mounting the Phoenix Lord on a round base that matches the shrine. Rather than break out the Dremil, I just drilled a hole and carved it to size with the scalpel instead. Less messy, but slower.
