It's time to take a break, although probably only 90% complete. The rear of the tower is still a bit plain as so is the doors. I'm not totally happy with the detailing, especially the repeating pattern up the front of the support colum at the side of the tower. I still got two more towers to do too, but that will have to wait. I'm still recovering from a bad Cold and last day before I return to work too :(

I'm sure this would have been one of those bad timing with making modification to something built and almost fully painted too. I just hope I like the final result otherwise I would be trying to recover the magnet imbedded into the tower :(
Another tool I owned from years ago, but unsure what was it was intended for. However it was perfect to scratch into the paint as some of the templates had finer slits than my mechanical pencil's 0.5 mm lead would pass through. Although the detail I ended up adding to the bunker wasn't as great as I thought it would be.
So I went a bit over-board with the details on the Antena leaving the rest of the tower looking quite bare. Hopefully with a few more features on the bunker other than the two extended buttress that hopefully more Tau-like and eventually more details will balance things out.
I used black for the base of my Battlesuits, but just dosen't look as great on the platform in comparison to the blue. If I keep the blue, then it looks a little off with the Battlesuits bases on top with black lines. And if I repaint the Battlesuit bases with blue lines, they clash with the blue of the battle suit! Arggghhh, hard decision to make.
The original reason I spray painted this was to avoid having to add multiple layers of Keslev Flesh, but unfortunately the dessert yellow was too dark that I had to use two laters of paint anyway :( I don't think I will be spray painting the next towers. I decided to go with the blue lines for the platforms, but only to realise that I used black for my Battlesuit bases. So they look a bit odd against the blue. I may end up repainting the blue lines with black instead.
The Tau tower has been spray painted and waiting for the fumes to wear off the model, hence thought I'd mention this mechanical pencil. This has been with me for over thirty years since I was a teen. The top have been replaced as I lost the original. I've used it to draw many pictures with and now just an every day device for writing notes and drawing lines on my models. Unlike some others that tend to break, this has survived the years. It's probably been years since I refilled it, although that's probably due to lack of use, but I'm sure I've been using it constantly...
Times like these I wish I had some forward planning. I overcome the issue with scoring the platform over the edge by holding the ruler and platform in mid air. I suprisingly did this with ease and made no mistake. So much that I then decided to do the same pattern on the underside and follow the lines on the side and the top edge. The next problem was attaching the feature to the base of the tower (middle component in the picture). Trying to angle a 1mm to the edge of another 1mm thick plastic meant a lot of sanding. The piece on the other side after some failure to measure pieces correctly, I used a much thinner sheet of plastic instead. The final mistake was the lines on the walls of the bunker. Not only did I start on the front wall first, but I was lazy and lined the template with the top. Once I reached the end where my feature was, the scored line didn't align with one of the lines on the feature :( This will likely be more obvious when I get around to painting it.
