Unfortunately not the good positive, but a COVID-19 positive :( Although today is the day after my 5th day in isolation, my test is showing a faint positive line that appears ~1 minute later (rather than a solid clear line as soon as the liquid hits the marker). I hope that means it's at the end. Unfortunately on my 4th day, my wife's test is positive, now she is in isolation while I look after the kids. Which unfortunately means lack of any progress, even though there was a lack of enthusiasm anyway.

I broke the horns off the Firedragon Falcon Grav Tank again! One of he crystals came off the stand from the new Striking Scorpion shrine.Just as I felt the month was getting back to normal and my mood starts to lift again to make some progess... this happens :(
Bit of a bad day as my son's 4 month old Ipad 9th Gen screen just cracked while it was sitting on the table without it being touched. I noticed a couple of weeks in that the shell was warped slightly, but never kept an eye on it and it seems it had been getting worse. May have been the heat, but it cracked from where it is warped. Usually I keep reciepts, but for whatever reason I couldn't find this one. Also Apple would count it as accidental damage and I didn't get Apple Care+. So it's likely cost me £250 to repair via Apple for a tablet I paid £320 and used for around 4 months :(
Using the left overs again and made 11 more skulls. Even added a new categry just so I can track my progress easily without having to get them all out to count them.
Hole drilled so the beads drop into it so they don't stand out too much, size picked out (as some were thicker than others), glue in hand and first one almost in place... then my wife hands me this! 3mm adhesive Gems just barely small enough, but they definately looked better.
The first plan was to use the ends of the epic banner poles and sand them down so they were more curved. That proved a lot more effort than it was worth so I went hunting for the smallest beads I could find. I had quite a big stash due to my past hobbies (see Crafts). However I only had blue and in a subtle two size, hence the end of the banner pole becamse the third. However after a trip to Hobby Craft the same day, I picked up a box of Trimits Rocailles Green for for £1.80. It does seem a bit excessive just so I can have three of them on either side of my shrine...
More tools to add to the hobby, although these belong to my wife. She's been making pendants and other stuff using UV Resin and a UV light. I've helped her with her hobby before, but never thought to use it until now on my models. The tablet stand helped with positioning the model to give the UV light direct line to the underside. The UV resin definately better than super-glue as it creates a hard outer bond, but this creates an additional layer. Unfortunately I don't have a small enough head piece for the Dremel to sand it down. I even managed to coat the back of the very thin Striking Scoprion's chain-sword that also snapped recently. The resulting gloss of the UV can be painted over, that may be an advantage to the the recent crystals I've painted...
The Firedragon Falcon Grav tank is probably the model that I've broken the most repeated times. While bring out the shrine with the tank on the side, I managed to drop it again, breaking three of the horns. Luckily I only just managed to find the last piece. At least its cheap to repair unlike my wife's A5 that she dropped and broke the screen. Now she's got a new Samsung Galaxy A13 phone that takes lovely pictures. I've yet to use it to take my own pictures. I took the Firedragon Shrine out to see how I painted the crystal columns. Unfortunately my camera isn't capturing the colour very well.
