I started on the Gorkanauts, but was not sure about the size to make it. In the end I went and made the head anyway and balanced it on the Stompa's shoulder for size comparison. Well it looks like the Gorkanauts are going to be slightly larger than the standard Stompa. Hopefully when I make the Super Stompa, it will be slightly larger and yet smaller than a Gargant.
As I used Army Painter's can of Desert Yellow spray paint to rescue my mountains, it was hard to match the colour for my smaller terrain pieces. Hence I parked these until my new order of paints from ebay arrives.

Finally completed the set of Killa Kans, making nine in total for the Dread Mob. The final one being the most deadliest with its sharp point of the self-tapping screw. I should have really sanded it down. Now I can think about making the two
Gorkanauts that I've been looking forward to making.
I've not updated my website for a while as the newest models are Orks. Hence I took a break from my Dread Mob to make some terrain. My plan is to have my Ork Base in a desert theme. This would make it different to the usual green I use and the stone theme I used for the Tyranids. What I don't like about terrain is it is usually a waste of space, hence you'll find a lot of mountains, hills or rocks I make is flat topped so I can place models on top. Once I finish this, hopefully I can take some new photos and update my website.
Mixing my black and yellow, I got a murky yellow, but as the foam was still wet, it wasn't covering the black. At least I hope this was the case rather than the paint was too watery. Hence my new brush was carefully washed and put away till the mountain dries.
Now I'm back to work, I haven't had a chance to work on my models. I'm trying to create three new Killa Kans, but unsure what weapons to create. Hence made a minor site update instead and defining the Categories I'm using. It's also a reminder for myself too.
The Dread Mob contains an Ork Mek and an Ork Pain Boy. Just as I was about to start work, I could not find the Dread Mob set on the Games Workshop web site. Luckily there were a few photos on the web to help me identify which two Ork models they were to base them on.
