As this would no longer hold any charge and you can't use it while plugged in, it meant I could take it apart after a new one was purchased. I didn't realise how many cogs where inside so hopefully after cleaning all the oil, I'll have more parts to use. The three re-chargeable batteries with soldered metal pieces will go into the battery recycle bin. The front cone where the screw bits insert may come in handy as a done someday. I was tempted to open up the motor to get at the coil, but its metal casing may prove more trouble than its worth. The rest I can bin safely. |
