I decided to re-use some old stands that were covered in green paint and started scraping it off and realised that I probably made a bad decision. It was a lot more effort than it's worth and after scraping and picking the paint off the first stand of figures, I realised why it took so long the last time. Even after the first five models, my wrists were aching and the pain in my fingers holding onto something so small with a tight grip was immensley intense. I already snapped one Ork from its legs and wondering how many more would result in the same fate :(

Just a few days shy of 5 years I posted this and I did say a while before I attempt to rebase my old Ork clans. Only two to go; The Evil Sunz and Deathskulls. These look probably the wost painted as I can tell I never base coated these. The colour of the plastic shows through some of the red paint, especially on the Orks. The vehicles have a thick coat of paint swamping over some of the details. This will be another long task ahead :(
So I've finally reached the end of finishing Tower Two. It was an exhausting task and not sure when I will feel like tactkling the final tower. The communication array on both towers is identical size and I feel like it doesn't quite fit with the taller tower, hence may end up remaking it :( But think it's time for something different.
Starting something new would probably distract me too much from finishing the job, so I decided to at least stick with one out of the two towers. So I laboured on. The final result of the scribe'd lines looked better, but the effort takes too long. Two coats of the line, plus two base coats plus a touch along the lines and the base again. I finally remembered I just mixed some white in with the Crystal Blue paint to get a similiar, but more liquidey Electric Blue. The original underside of the platform had a cover in the middle so I didn't have to paint the central triangle and grill on the underside (which I would have done). I used what I had, a slightly too short pieces of plastic. I actually like what I did, but this time I'm make it the full length.
