I wish I had this much enthusiasm to paint my other models. Possibly because there were so many components I could work on, or it was just so little effort. The problem now is that I had a spare corner piece to use. On the bright side, I only have one more section left to fill my B2 level and there's no more I can do to it... unless I decide to change the layout or choose to add a few more details in those plain walls. Also I now have a few repeating items I can add throughout; the oversized security camera dome and also red fire alarm bell (with the bright yellow cover).

So I grabbed a whole load of sand beads thinking I'd make a mass of security camera domes. However after trying to sand the back of five of these, I started getting cramp in my fingers holding these small items. As they still needed a bit more work, I ended up with only two. I was tempted to replace the two in the Service Lifts too, but decided I liked them as they were. So with the toilets in place with a removable wall and also a removable corner column, I was ready to get painting.
My corner corridor has a security camera dome made from a sand bead. I can't remember how I went about the original, but likely I filled in the hole and added a red dot. This time around I decided to utilise the hole and added some green stuff so I could insert a small rod inside. This way I use the hole in the bead to my advantage. This got me thinking whether to add this all over my HQ considering that from years ago when I started this hobby, I picked up lots of bags in various colours and luckily a plentiful large bag of matt black ones.
I wasn't satisfied about the corner piece in the Science Sector leading into the Science Wing. It also left a section empty and then I started considering the plumbing. Hence remaking the section into a T-junction as well as add in some toilets. Originally it was just going to be the the outside doors and I wouldn't bother with the inside. This section was not going to be visible from the edge and was going to have levels stacked on top. However I couldn't let that be, going another step too far and even considering trying to model someone on the toilet reading a magazine!
While look for an old post I found something I didn't expect. That was around ~10 posts back in 2018 on this blog with recent pictures :( I wasn't happy as it wasn't something I could ignore. Hence I spent hours hunting for the original photos and trying to match it and reattach it to the post. Luckily back then my photos usually get uploaded on the same day. Anyway, looks like these photos was taken back in 2014 before I started this blog site. Why was I looking for these? Well seems like I may be making another set of toilets. I thought I also post the vending machines that accompanied this section, something I'll unlikely try and reproduce.
So I took the challenge and tried to make plastic shoulders, sanding the end of a rod and then slicing the bottom. I only had a few rods in several thickness, so the end result needed a bit more padding, hence the green strip along the side. Next time if I try this, I need to remember not to cut the shoulders so short so they stick out a bit more. I padded the wrist guards and then the last hardest part was the ammo feed. I used the tentacle maker for this, flattened it out and then even tried to straighten the indents too. After a lot of effort, this Chaos Terminator is complete.
So I spent most my weekend sorting Lego! Yes, the next level of putting flat 1x4 pieces all red together, 1x6's together, building blocks of the same size together etc. It makes looking for pieces much easier, but putting them away (and taking them out) a lot harder. My work-top was cleared as I always do between each project, leaving this piece, so I decided to paint it quickly so that it could go back in the doll house. I didn't even get out the small brush to paint the laser shining out of the scope, but luckily didn't turn out too bad. Unfortunately the scope didn't come out too well in the photo.
