So the second one didn't match the first as I was learning how to use the Scribe. It's a crude tool that does its job and doesn't actually take much effort. However it is just learning how to use it and what it is capable of. The mechanical pencil I had since a child takes 0.5mm lead and the Scribe's blade I was using is ~0.3mm. So depending how the line is drawn and then where you run the Scribe (above, below or on the line drawn) that can be potentially almost 1mm difference. Unfortunately the third attempt matched the second one, but the strip of plastic I used must have been before I had an angle ruler. As one end was a good 1mm+ wider than the other. Luckily after the third variant, the fourth, fifth and sixth matched the first three. As these were planned to be placed on either side of the tower, you wouldn't be able to see both side at once to compare... but I couldn't overcome my own knowledge that they would be different. Hence the need to make matching pairs.
